Are your bikes prone to rust?

Great question! As with all bikes, the chain, water bottle bolts, freewheel, chainring, and some other small steel parts/bolts are subject to rust/corrosion over time. Also, note that living in a coastal area with exposure to salt air and moisture will also speed up the process. Keeping the gears properly lubricated will help resist the corrosion process.

The ETHOS models have steel frames, forks, and hubs that are treated but eventually will be subject to corrosion from the environmental elements. So, keep in mind that our AIROS models are the best choice in resisting corrosion.

We hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
