What is the Guardian Bikes 100-Day Test Ride?
Our team is passionate about engineering the safest and best bikes for your children and we are committed to delivering the absolute best experience for our customers. We stand by our products and customers. If there is an issue with your bike, we don’t believe you should pay the price. That is why we have created the industry’s best return, exchange, and warranty policy below. Please note this policy is only valid for the original registered owner of the bike.
For customers that use our RideSizer sizing tool our return policy lasts 365 days from the delivery date of your item(s). For customers that do not use our RideSizer sizing tool our return policy lasts 100 days from the delivery date of your item(s).
Returns and Exchanges
At Guardian Bikes, we offer a 365-day return or exchange policy, no questions asked. The return window starts on the day the bike is delivered. You can start your return or exchange at any time within this window!
The exchange period does not restart after the initial exchange.
If an exchange to a new bike is a higher price than originally paid, the customer will pay the difference. If an exchange to a new bike is a lower price than originally paid, Guardian will refund the customer the difference.
Parts and Repairs
In addition we cover Parts and Repairs for 365 days.
Our warranty policy for part and frame defects:
Lifetime warranty on all frame defects
1-year warranty on all component defects*
*Items that experience normal wear and tear not included (tires, tubes, brake pads)
If there is a manufacturing defect, Guardian Bikes will pay for parts, shipping, and the repair work. Most minor repairs can easily be done at home using our repair videos and tools we will ship with the parts. If a major repair is needed, our team will help you find the nearest bike shop to do the repair. We will cover the cost of this repair work.
How do I start a warranty claim?
Please take some photos of the issue and email them to email@example.com. This helps our team diagnose the problem and decide on the next steps. You can also submit a warranty claim here.
What’s not covered: Normal wear and tear. Dings, scratches, dents, and scuffs. We want your kid to use and love our bike, but we don’t cover the wear and tear from use.
Our return policy lasts 365 days from the delivery date of your item(s). Please email our team at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to this link to start the process at any point during the specified time frame. After your return is complete, you will be refunded in full.
For returns, we ask that bikes are donated to a local charity or organization. If you don't have a charity in mind, you can also donate to a friend, neighbor, or family member. We're not picky, we just like to know the bike is going to a good home!
Once you get the bike donated, just email us proof of donation (donation receipt, handwritten letter, photo of the happy recipient, etc.) & we'll complete your refund in full.
