Connecting the front brakeUpdated 3 months ago

Having trouble getting the front brake to connect?

Ensure fork is rotated correctly. The cables should all be nice and straight in front of the bike, not twisted around or wrapped.

See that the brake cable is fully inserted in SureStop brake pad. The pad is on the chain side of the bike at the rear. The rear brake is connected to the front brake.

If it's pulled out at an angle, the front brake will not have enough slack to connect. The cable should run parallel with the brake pad and rim of the wheel. You will feel it reset in place.
