Front brake is rubbing on one side of the wheelUpdated 3 months ago

Is the front brake rubbing on one side of the wheel on your 24" or 26" bike?

Don't worry! It's an easy fix!

A majority of the time, one of the brake pads is rubbing against the rim because the wheel is not installed perfectly straight. As you tighten down the front wheel nuts, the wheel can sometimes shift out of alignment.

Once you've checked the wheel alignment and still find one brake pad rubbing, simply adjust the brake tension screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Watch this quick video guide—it's really straightforward!
