Chain loose?

Slack in the chain can happen during training wheel installation if the wheel is set too far forward. To fix the chain tension, you will need to loosen the rear wheel and pull the wheel toward the back of the bike, which in turn tightens the chain. The axel nuts on the rear wheel can be removed using a high-quality 15mm wrench.

Noisy chain?

We'd recommend flipping the bike upside down, and spinning the pedals. Take a close look behind the chain guard. You will then see if the chain is rubbing at some point during rotation. You can move the chain guard outward slightly by simply bending it. You can use a wrench or allen key to bend it if you need a little extra leverage. :)
The chain guard is actually quite pliable, so it should easily bend inward & outward.
